Download Polylang Pro 3.8.10 — Translation Pair Tests & Nulled FAQ
A two-way English/French page pair, a deliberately missing German translation and a real language switcher show what happens before every language is complete.

Test record: 2026-10-21 · WordPress 7.1.3; PHP 8.4.26; MySQL 8.4.11; Twenty Twenty-Five 1.5. Polylang Pro 3.8.10; native language and page-translation APIs; no machine translation service. Isolated Basic Auth/noindex lab, synthetic data only; external HTTP, real email and payment delivery blocked.
One page per language, with explicit relationships
Polylang is useful when each language needs its own WordPress content record. Our example is an English workshop page linked to a French counterpart, with German configured but deliberately left without a translated page. The useful question is not whether three language names appear in settings. It is whether visitors reach the correct counterpart and whether an unfinished language creates a misleading switcher option.
The English-to-French relationship and its reverse were both saved and verified. A language-filtered query selected the French page rather than returning both records. On the real front end, the switcher moved between the English and French pages; the missing German counterpart was not offered in the configured switcher. That last result depends on the switcher’s hide-missing setting, not a promise that every menu configuration hides unfinished content.
How the three-language fixture was built
We registered English, French and German through the plugin’s native language model, created two published pages, assigned each its language and saved their translation relationship. Page content was synthetic and supplied by the fixture. No machine translation request, translation credit or external API was used.

A lab-only shortcode called Polylang’s native language-switcher function. It was a small way to expose the actual result in a controlled page, not a replacement translation engine. The standard site also contained an unassigned sample page, so the native notice about content without a language was expected. A real migration should inventory existing posts and terms instead of treating language creation as the whole job.
Three checks worth doing before a multilingual launch
| Check | Observed result | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| English → French | French counterpart returned | A language link must refer to the intended translation |
| French → English | English counterpart returned | The relationship must work in both directions |
| German counterpart / French-only query | No German counterpart; only French selected | Configured languages and translated content are different things |

These small checks catch a practical class of errors: a translated page may exist but not be connected to the original, or it may be assigned the wrong language. Recheck both directions after duplicating or replacing a translated page. A working language selector alone does not establish that categories, custom fields, menus and SEO output are also correctly localized.
What the French visitor actually saw

The browser check confirmed the French text and the return language option. The missing German page remained missing; we did not manufacture a fallback translation or claim an automatic translation had happened. If you want an unfinished language visible, choose and test that behavior deliberately. Sending visitors to a language homepage is a different outcome from taking them to a translated equivalent.
For a site whose language versions require independent editing and publication, this explicit-record model is straightforward to inspect. If the requirement is translating strings within the same page instead, compare that workflow in staging before choosing a system. We did not conduct a head-to-head benchmark or test machine translation, multilingual commerce or a full hreflang audit here.
Package and repeatable resources
The main ZIP is the GPLHub package with a 3.8.10 plugin header. No separate add-on archive was listed with this product at capture time. The second download therefore contains our synthetic fixture and recorded results, clearly labelled Test Resources; it is not an extra Polylang feature pack. Adapt the fixture guards and run it only in disposable staging.
Polylang download and Nulled questions
“Nulled” usually describes software whose activation or licence checks have been removed or altered; the word alone does not determine whether a particular use is lawful. GPL-covered code can be studied, modified and redistributed subject to its licence conditions, but this does not grant access to a developer’s account, hosted services, updates or support. We discuss the term here to answer a common search question; the download details separately identify the package source and tested version. Any plugin or theme obtained through an unverified third party can contain unwanted changes or malicious code, whether or not it is labelled “nulled”. Before installing it, you can ask ChatGPT or Claude Code to inspect the extracted source for suspicious behaviour without executing it or sharing credentials. Treat that review as an additional check: AI can miss harmful code or flag harmless code, and a clean result is not a security guarantee.
Why is a language absent from this switcher? In our setup it had no page counterpart and hide-missing behavior was enabled. First inspect the page relationship, then the switcher configuration.
Does this test show automatic translation? No. The English and French text was supplied explicitly; no translation provider was called.
Are all existing pages automatically assigned a language? Our sample page remained unassigned. Review older content and menus during a migration rather than assuming language setup has assigned everything.
